"I'm being and seeing myself, seeing me see myself". Paul Valery

Art is not a career to me, it's a life in the realm of ideas, which are not necessarily monetary or consumable. Some of my ideas go into trial periods, others are not followed up at all, and a few turn into projects and art pieces that manifest themselves in various media. I either think about art, talk, read, or create art; always striving to explore myself and expand the borders of my work. To me it's always a challenge to move into new directions, explore new environments try new things, always in a process of learning and expanding my horizon. My focus in art was never commercial, rather to produce true and honest art work. I belief in the freedom of art production, a process that it free of self censorship, superficial dilettantism or trying to please the art market.

In the meantime I react with yawning to the boredom of cold fundamental ignorance and the superficiality in the use of secondhand ideas. Where ever I see contemporary art, with a few exceptions of course, I miss the uniqueness of a heart paired with a strong concept, resulting in great artwork in whatever medium it's produced. The current neo rococo everything goes (as long as it sells) art salon production is frightening. When Art becomes degraded to a banal chic consumer product, bought by people with no eyes but ears only, I want to stay away.

I never wanted to be part of anything but myself. I have managed to move along mostly with the first two of the three necessary factors to make it as an artist, or in any other profession. First there is hard work, second there is luck and third and maybe the most important is connections. So maybe you are my connection to get my work going. I always went the hard way, therefore I will be very grateful for any of your generous support.
